JOIN USThe Congress will never associate with the JD(S) which is responsible for all the dramatic developments in the State, asserted KPCC leader B L Shankar.
He was speaking at the Block Congress Committee meeting held at the District Congress Office in the city. Criticisng the JD(S) actions, he said the JD(S) sans principles. “In the JD(S), a group of people are the rulers as well as the workers. Whatever decision taken by them in the Party is considered as valuable. But the Congress is a party with principles. We have leadership hierarchy,” he said.
He praised the Congress by stating that, the Congress is the only party in the State to give full term administration. No other parties have achieved this so far, he said.
Former District unit President K B Mallikarjun stressed that the Congress will never develop if it does not come out from the love towards the JD(S). A decision must be taken by the Congress not to associate itself with the JD(S) in State-level, he urged.
Explaining the steps taken by the Congress to strengthen the Party, District Unit President M L Moorthy said, in order to empower the party from its base 12 leaders have been appointed in 12 blocks, he informed and asked a large number of party workers to assemble in the Bruhat Congress Rally to be held in Mysore on February 20.
