Graduation Day

The Indo Asian Academy is celebrating the Graduation Day of the second year Pre-University students on February 17. The event will commence at 3 pm and will have 441 students from science, commerce and art streams taking oath. February 18 will be celebrated as the Annual Day of the Institute and the theme for the day is
Heritage of India.


PES Institute of Technology is all set to host its annual techno-cultural extravaganza Aatmatrisha’11 on February 19 and 20. Around 30 colleges from all over South India will be taking part in the fest.

The two-day fest will have an array of events in different categories like technical, cultural, literary, informal, gaming and fine arts events.

Technical events will include Athena’s Challenge, Circuits Hay’wire’, Pythagorean Puzzles, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, ‘MAT’h-minds,Tronics, etc while cultural events will comprise Skimos, Phantasia, KomiKos, Plebian play, Akoustiki, Lepti, Di-thyramb, Agalliao, Geranos, Battle of Bands and others.

Other than this, there will be many competitions and surprises in the form of literary, gaming, fine arts and informal events.


NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology will be holding the eighth installment of their annual festival Anaadyanta on February 18 and 19. The first day would start off with main events like Mad Ads, Fox Hunting, debate, rangoli and juggling competition. The T-20 and volleyball competitions will be held on both the days. The evening will have
Battle of the bands followed by the group dance competition.

The second day will have sudoku, treasure hunt and solo dances.
The afternoon would have technical paper presentation, on-the-spot programming, slow biking followed by the Dance Club competition and the valedictory session. The festival would end with the fashion show and the DJ night.
