Conference on theatre

The conference is being organised by the department of performing arts of the Bangalore University (BU). The topics are ‘Theatre movements in Karnataka,’ ‘Kannada theatre and anti-colonial struggle/nationalism,’ ‘Kannada theatre and government/NGOs,’ ‘Karnataka theatre movement and dalit/farmers’/labour movements,’ and ‘Karnataka theatre and professional/amateur/str- eet theatre.’

Each presentation should not exceed 20 minutes. Last date for abstracts is March 15 and for registration it is March 20. Registration fee for general conference will be Rs 1,000 and for research scholars, it will be Rs 500.
