Minister for Medical Education Ramachandra Gowda on Sunday announced that Doctors’ Day will be celebrated under the auspices of the government from the next year.
He was speaking at the Doctors’ Day celebrations organised by Indian Medical Association (IMA) Mysore chapter in the city. “It would be meaningful, if the people who avail the services of the doctors celebrate the occasion. However, the government will go ahead with the celebration,” Ramachandra Gowda asserted.
