Couples who want to go clothesfree can head to the resort’s au naturel island. At night, there is reggae and Caribbean steel drum bands and movies on the beach. And, no kids!

Couples Swept Away: The most popular of the Couples Resorts, Swept Away lays claim to 10 acres in Negril. All rooms overlook the ocean or tropical gardens. The new, top-of-the-line Great House contains a wedding reception space plus 28 suites, some with a wet bar, jacuzzi, and plasma TV. Part of the all-inclusive’s offerings are a free trip to Margaritaville, Pirate’s Cove, and catamaran cruise. They are not the height of luxury, but many couples believe they offer a terrific value in relation to the cost.

Couples Negril and Couples Sans Souci are the other two. Rents touch $500 a night on special offers. They say their loyal guests are those that value experience over price and would like to be pampered in an environment conducive to romance. Now, if you’ve been blowing up all your hard earned cash on the children’s schooling, this is obviously not the place for you.
