Irfan Ghatala-trained Tiberius, steered by VR de Sousa, remained unbeaten after clinching the Heeroji Lad Bangalore Juvenile Million (Grade III) over seven furlongs, the plum event of the concluding day’s races of the Winter Season here on Saturday.
Suraj Narredu continued his dominance in Bangalore by taking home the leading jockey honours after booting home 45 winners, with Irish pro Chris Hayes coming in a distant second with 23 winners.
The leading trainer trophy was lifted by Jaggy Dhariwal, who dethroned last year’s winner Irfan Ghatala.
