But since the permanent solutions require huge fund, works can be taken up only phase by phase, he added.<br /><br />Town Municipality member K T Baby Mathew explained the typical problems the residents of Indiranagar, Chamundeshwari Nagar, Jyothinagar and Thyagaraja Colony face during rain season to Medappa. <br /><br />He said that the residents, who face rain problems during rains, should be rehabilitated to safe places.<br /><br />Later, Medappa visited the gruel centre opened at SGSY Community Hall in Chamundeshwari Nagar and took stock of the facilities provided by the Municipality. <br /><br />After looking at the centre he directed Municipal Commissioner K Shrikanth Rao to make arrangements to provide electricity connection to the gruel centre.<br /><br />Rao said that some residents in the rain hit areas do not shift to gruel centres even after they were warned. <br /></p>
