The State’s food production is expected to be 128.38 lakh tonnes in 2010-11 against the target of 123.70 lakh tonnes, he said after inaugurating the online version of Bhoochetana scheme. The department will commence distribution of seeds to farmers for the coming Kharif season from April 1.
About 12 lakh quintal of seeds will be distributed in the season and the State has enough stock of fertiliser.
