Following complaints on the issue, a spot inspection was carried out at Singasandra and Parappana Agrahara where the telecom company had illegally dug roads to lay cables. The firm had also damaged Langford Road.
The Palike imposed the penalty on the firm and warned that it would be blacklisted if it didn’t seek permission to dig roads.
