JOIN USPSI Suresh Randive said that father of the victim would work at a farm of one Babulal Rasal and had dispute with him. On April 4, Rasal and his aide Narayan Kale forcefully picked up the victim and took her on a bike to different places and raped her over the next four days.
As per the statement given by the victim, after four days the accused took her to their village Surmapuri where the father of the accused forcefully made her sign on a Bond Paper stating that the accused neither raped her nor misbehaved.
On April 10, the accused left her at her Rampur village. She did not reveal as to what happened to her but on the same day she tried to commit suicide by pouring kerosene on herself at her home, Randive said.
She is 95 per cent burnt and being treated at the Beed civil Hospital, he added. The main accused Rasal is absconding while his aide Narayan Kale has been arrested, police said.
