The film stars real life eunuchs and actors Seema Biswas and Vineeth. “It is important to make films on transgenders to know about their problems and to find solutions for the same. Everyone should come together and make this film a success because I have heard the story and I’m sure it will be a great film,” said Hema.

Also present at the music launch was Seema, who plays a pivotal role in the film. “I fell in love with the script soon after I was given the narration. I always felt that in our films, the role of a eunuch is played by a man. I feel it’s more challenging for a woman to play it. So I am glad that I got an opportunity to do so this film,” said the National Award-winning actress.

“It was a wonderful experience working on this film. Making it was a big risk so I’m very thankful to the entire team of this film, for making something like this and encouraging transgenders,” she added.

The team revealed that it was not easy to make a film on such a sensitive topic. “There were a lot of apprehensions when I wanted to make a film on this subject. I had to convince everyone, even my producers. But finally, it all fell in place and I’m glad it did,” Atkins said.
