Vokkaligas asked to unite

He was addressing a programme organised to develop the capacity of the community, in the city.

The society is neglecting the oppressed classes and the aim of the vedike is uplift of the particular class of people. It is imperative for vokkaliga to join hands to realise the aim. It can be achieved by holding programmes like creating awareness among the community.

Karnataka Exhibition Authority (KEA) Chairman B P Manjunath said that the programmes
planned by the vedike should reach even the last man. Moreover, one should encourage those who have been doing a good jog in this direction, rather pulling their legs which would discouraging them.

Bangalore Vishwa Vokkaligara Directory Trust Chairman K T Chandru said it’s true that religious leaders, politicians and officers have to strive for the development of the society.

However, unfortunately, none of them are living up to the expectations. Social worker
Rathnamma was felicitated on the occasion by Seer Sri Somanatha of Adhichunchanagiri Mysore Branch Mutt.

Karnataka Housing Board (KHB) Chairman G T Devegowda others were present.
