Anitha, the 27 year-old unmarried daughter of Girijamma, was having an illicit affair with her neighbour, Nandakumar (33), a married man employed with a private firm, police said.<br /><br />Girijamma had objected to the relationship and when Nandakumar came to meet Anitha last night, there was an altercation following which the two allegedly smothered the woman using a pillow,source said.
