Out of the total 1,26,300 voters (84,060 men and 42,240 women), only 44,061 (32,145 men and 11,916 women) voters exercised their franchise thus registering a poor less than 35 per cent polling.
While Bantwal registered highest poll percentage of 38.67 (16,205 voters), Mangalore registered lowest poll percentage of 31.54 (11,319) and Belthangady registered 35 per cent (16,976) polling.
