Action against overloading school vans

The aurorickshaw, taxi, maxi cab should take only limited number of students as per seating capacity. The vehicles should have all the original documents like registration certificate, driving licence, insurance license. “If the drivers failed to produce the documents before the authorities during inspection, we will cancel the registration of such vehicles or impose heavy penalty or cancel the licenses of the driver,” said RTO Purushotham J.

Parents have been asked to not to send their children in unauthorised vehicles.
