Amma in Mangalore on May 1, 2

Addressing a Press Meet Mata Amritanandamayi Seva Samiti President Dr Sanath Hegde said that the two days will have four sessions which includes spiritual discourse, Bhajans, guided meditation and darshan by Amma.

The morning session will start at 10 am and evening session will start at 7 pm at Amrita Vidyalayam Grounds near Sulthan Bathery, Boloor.

Poojas

Udayasthamana Pooja, Lalitha Sahasranamarchane, Rahudosha and Shanidosha Nirvana Poojas will also be held.

On May 2 at 6.30 pm a formal stage programme will be held. Minister for Higher Education Dr V S Acharya will be the chief guest and Mangalore Mayor Praveen Anchan will preside.
District-in-Charge Minister Krishna J Palemar, Karnataka Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker N Yogish Bhat, Member of Parliament Nalin Kumar Kateel, Mangalore Diocese Vicar General Rev Msgr Denis Moras Prabhu, MLA U T Khader will be the guests of honour.

Amma will also launch ‘Clean Mangalore’ drive as part of her vision ‘Amala Bharatam’.

Free buses

Buses will ply between Ladyhill and Amrita Vidyalayam on both the days for the convenience of the public free of cost. Participants will also receive free food and clean drinking water free of cost.
