Yadav was arrested after District Development Commissioner Dilip Kumar Jha filed an FIR against him alleging that the legislator assaulted him during the Zilla Parishad meeting here.
The Superintendent of Police, Rakesh Bansal, had said Yadav beat up Jha for 'refusing' to take up the agenda brought by Zilla Parishad’s chairperson Kalpana Devi, who is the MLA’s wife.
