Downpour came as a relief for citizens experiencing sultry weather

The rains came as a relief for citizens as they were experiencing sultry weather in the last one month. The strong breeze created tense moments for sometime. A coconut tree uprooted and fell on the electric wire near the office of deputy director, Department of Public Instructions. Luckily, no one was injured in the mishap.

In Malavalli, a big tree was uprooted due to strong gale. It fell on the electric wire because of which nine electric poles came crashing. This affected traffic for sometime.
