SIO's education campaign from today

The main aim of the campaign is to inculcate the interest and passion for education among the backward and underdeveloped section of the society.

The organisation will identify backward areas and hold meeting with the parents of the children and with the patrons of the locality, survey of children, councelling of students for higher education, meeting NGO’s working on child labour, identification of school dropouts and child labourers and persuading the children to enter the portals of school are some of the objectives of the campaign.

Awareness programmes like street plays, rallies, documentary shows and door to door visits will be held, he said.
