A 27-year-old woman, who returned from US on July 16, has tested positive for H1N1 flu, at the Rajiv Gandhi Institute for Chest Diseases here on Tuesday.
She had developed flu-like symptoms three days ago and throat swabs were sent to the National Institute of Virology (NIV), Pune.
Meanwhile, throat swabs of seven people admitted to RGICD following screening have been sent to NIV.
Currently, the hospital has five positive cases and has discharged six patients after quarantine period.
No new cases have been admitted at Victoria hospital as the H1N1 ward was full.
