His father Jay Narayan Sah has been looking for him ever since and walks miles together holding his son’s picture and asking the public if anyone has seen him.

The boy, Dev Neeraj Sah, is said to be suffering from psychiatric problems and has a tendency to run away. The symptoms of his condition are outbursts of anger and irritability.

Dev is fidgety, clenches his teeth, closes his palms tightly and holds them behind his back, due to his medical condition. “My son was a bright student in school, but he developed these symptoms three years ago. He can speak Nepali and can understand Hindi and English,” says his father.

The poor farmer from Nepal came to Bangalore with a hope to cure his son and is put up at the rest house on the Nimhans campus. Dev’s treatment had started at the hospital and on the second day, when the father had gone out leaving his son alone in the rest house, the boy escaped.

Dev was wearing a white full- sleeved shirt and shorts with red stripes when he escaped and was last seen on May 23 at Shantinagar bus station. If anyone comes across the boy, they can contact Joseph Philip on 98800 74147 or Jobin Tom on 97421 69395.
