He said the people of this State are depressed over Yeddyurappa’s governance. The voters have maintained silence without raising opposition against his administration. Shouting slogans against the BJP has not yielded in anything, Thus the Congress has decided to mock at the government and the voters by shouting ‘Jaikara’ of Yeddyurappa government and the voters.

Speaking to the media persons on Saturday, he said that shouting slogans in favour of the government and the voters would help them to understand the mindset of the people. For the first time, the District Congress organised ‘Panchayat Paryatane’ programme. The KPCC President who was impressed by the programme, decided to carry out the drive in the entire State. The drive will symbolically start in the State on June 15, he informed.

Explaining the format of the drive, he said the MLAs, MPs, former MPs, former MLAs and the Party leaders will visit the party workers, discuss the problems and will strengthen the party. The drive has been completed in the district for about 90 per cent.

He alleged that the State government is gaining cheap publicity. Though, 108 ambulance services were provided under the Central government’s scheme, the State government is claiming as though the service was introduced by the State government. The doctors in the government hospitals behave as if they are the agents of private hospitals. The government doctors unnecessarily suggest the patients to visit the private hospitals for treatment, he alleged.

He also complained that the people’s representatives from the ruling party are not responding to the complaints of the opposition party members.  The repair work of the road that connects bypass road has stopped long back. The ruling party is not at all concerned over the problem.

“If we inform the SP about the chaos in IG Road, he turns his finger towards the district administration,” criticised Moorthy.

He also said that the black money stashed in India should be revealed first, followed by bringing back the money from foreign banks, he said.
