Confusion at FDA exam

Last Updated 19 June 2011, 18:18 IST

The candidate was answering the exams in room no. 24 in the College.
A staff member of the College came in some time after the exam began and said there was a mistake in the question paper distributed. The staff member also took away the question paper, saying the right one would be given to the candidate.

Other candidates too objected to the staff member’s act. Alleging ill intentions, they even attempted to stage a protest.

The invigilators, however, arrived at the spot and pacified the candidates.

Both the candidate and the staff member were questioned. The staff member explained in writing, confirming a total lack of connection with ‘the incident of switching question papers.’

The candidate gave no written explanation, but said that it was true that ‘the staff member gave a different question paper in place of the original.’

Invigilators Sadashiva Mirji and C U Chandrashekhar collected information regarding the incident.

College principal Prof B V Krishnappa too was questioned.
