"The Governor worked as political agent of Congress party and ultimately sanctioned the reservation bill which was passed during Vasundhar Raje led BJP Government and was pending with him since July last year," Deputy Leader of Opposition in Rajasthan Assembly Ghanshyam Tiwari alleged.

"He should be removed," he told reporters.

The Governor, he said, should clarify as to why he put the bill on hold for such a long time. "He should reveal how many law experts he consulted during the period," Tiwari said.
The BJP leader demanded that the the bill be included in the Ninth Schedule, so that it cannot be challenged in court.

"It is the responsibility of Congress government to get the bill included in the Ninth Schedule at the earliest, and if the government fails to do so, the BJP will call for an agitation," he said.

Tiwari said the bill which accords five per cent reservation to SBC (Special Backward Class), which included Gujjar community, and 14 per cent reservation to EBC (Economic Backward Class) was in the interest of the state and society.
