LPG cylinder explodes

 The explosion occurred inside Hot and Cool restaurant, which is situated in the Manipal Masjid building. Soft drinks bottles, airconditioner, electrical wirings and a pane in front of the restaurant were damaged in the explosion. Meanwhile, major mishap has been averted by the fire force brigades.

The restaurant, which belong to one Siddaki, usually opens at 4 pm. None of the employees were there inside the restaurant when the explosion took place. It is suspected that the explosion might have happened due to leakage in the LPG cylinder.

Later fire brigades and localites brought the cylinder outside and released the gas at an open place.
