Without any relief or help from the district administration, the members of the family are still struggling to get some help.

Dinesh, Naveen and Sandesh, three siblings hailing were Kamenahalli were working in a farmland, planting tomato saplings. When the rains started pouring, the brothers took shelter under a hut in their farmland. Unfortunately, lightning struck the hut and the three brothers fell on the ground in an unconscious state. On gaining consciousness, the trio realized that they could not stand on their feet. When the three started crying for help, some women who were working in the sugar cane farm came to help them. The local residents rushed them to the hospital.

The youth who were treated at Mallenagowda Government Hospital have not recovered yet. Even when the brothers were being treated at the hospital, none of the elected representatives visited them.

“We have come home but yet we are under medication. We are unable to do any work. The acute pain in the body is beyond expression,” said Dinesh adding that when they were fine, they used to pursue education after working in the farm.

The only urge of the brothers is that district administration should help them by providing them compensation.
