Dr Parviz Ahmed Piran, joint director in the BBMP Animal Husbandry department claimed that the boy did not fall prey to stray dogs as projected.
Piran said the findings by an American odontologist had vindicated his point. “From Day One, I have been saying that it (Sandeep’s death) is not a case of dog bite. It could be a hit-and-run case too. My stand is vindicated,” he added.
He said that he had emailed photographs and videographs of Sandeep’s body to Dr Ken Cohrn in Florida, USA.
Cohrn who has studied them thoroughly, found that it is anything but a dog bite case, Piran added.
Sandeep, the son of a construction labourer Sanjay, was found dead some 200 metres away from the place he was living.
