<p>The victim, a garment factory worker, lives alone on Farm Road, next to Ramachandra Housing Complex at Nayandahalli, while her husband and children stay at Bharathinagara (KM Doddi) near Maddur. She had visited the family on the weekend.<br />On Sunday, at around 11 pm, she alighted from a KSRTC bus and was on her way home, when an unidentified youth waylaid her near Ganesha Temple and asked her to remove her mangala sutra, gold jewellery, earstuds and a vanity bag containing Rs 4,500 in cash.<br /><br />After forcibly snatching it, he called two other accomplices on his mobile phone. The trio took her to a coconut grove and raped her.Police are interrogating the complainant and a few local youths.</p>
