The peace march will commence from old taluk office at 10 am and will culminate at Gandhi statue near SP office.
Additional forces have bee deployed in the district to maintain peace and order. 10 Karnataka State Resrve Police and 10 DAR platoons have been deployed to the district.
“Police are on look out for the miscreants who were responsible for the incidents. Public should not heed to the rumours, “appealed SP M N Nagaraj.
No untoward incidents have taken place in the district till Wednesday night.
Police are on duty in every street and near prayer halls iin the region.
