“Yeddyurappa got Rs 14 crore in the scam and he has paid a share to three top leaders of the party through cheques,” Kumaraswamy said at a press meet here on Sunday.

Refusing to disclose the names, Kumaraswamy urged the Lokayukta to submit a report after a thorough probe. “Otherwise, I will name the beneficiaries,” he added.

Denying the charge that he was lying low after his name figured in Lokayukta report on illegal mining, Kumaraswamy said the report clearly states that there was no loss to exchequer during his tenure. He said he will release documents to substantiate the finding, soon.

“The principal secretary to Mines and Geology department has noted that permission was granted to Jantakal Mining Company to export 1.17 lakh tonnes of ore. But, by that time I had quit as chief minister. I will come up with documents to show who granted permission for export,” he said.

Replying to a query on no reference to N Dharam Singh in the report, Kumaraswamy said Congressmen were at the root of illegal mining in the State. The BJP planned to save Congress by not submitting the documents to the Lokayukta, he claimed.
