The students and faculty of IIM Bangalore and Ahmedabad staged a symbolic protest. Trilochan Sastry, Dean, Academics, IIMB, pledged to skip a meal everyday until the Central government agreed to a strong Lokpal bill, the student media cell stated. The students too skipped their lunch. Mihir Mogre, a first-year student, came up with an idea to wear T-shirts inside out.
At IISc, around 230 students skipped lunch as a symbolic support for the indefinite hunger protest by the Hazare team. A team of 25-30 students cycled to Freedom Park to participate in the protest. “I believe that every effort counts. We are trying out best,” said Saurabh Aggarwal, a student.
