Two robbers make vain attempt to loot ATM

According to police, the duo, who gained entry into the ATM in the guise of customers, threatened the security guard and immobilised him by tying his arms and legs with a rope.

Later, the miscreants hit the ATM box with big iron rods and sticks. When they were trying to remove the second door of the ATM, they saw a few public passing through in front of the ATM Centre, police said.

The miscreants robbed the cash of rupees one hundred and mobile from the security guard and fled away, police added.
