Off to a great start

It was attended by a large number of Sandalwood actors. Veteran actor Ambarish unveiled the audio CDs along with Ravichandran, S Narayan, Ramesh Aravind and others.

The movie has Ravichandran, Ramesh Aravind, Vijay Raghavendra, Ragini Dwivedi, Yagna Shetty and Risheeka Singh in the lead roles and is touted as the remake of blockbuster Hindi film ‘No Entry’.

The film has songs by Alex Paul and Kaviraj. Producer K Manju, who had given a super hit comedy film Rama Shama Bhama three years ago had named this film as ‘Happy Husbands’ before renaming it as Kalla Malla Sulla.

The audio release began with the beats of traditional African Djembe performed by ‘Beat Gurus’. Even Ravichandran, Ramesh and Vijay Raghavendra tried their hands on Djembe drums and enthralled the audience.

“Actually, the traits of the protagonists of this film are in perfect match with producer K Manju,” said Ravichandran and added, “it was nice working with Ramesh and Vijay. We enjoyed a lot on the sets and audience will enjoy more than what we did.”Mimicry artiste Ramesh Babu imitated the voices of politicians and film actors and this evoked a lot of laughter.

“I had worked with K Manju in Rama Shama Bhama which was a blockbuster starring Kamal Hassan. Like that film Kalla Malla Sulla is a good family entertainer. K Manju had given all the facilities and freedom to director Uday Prakash during its shoot and the print has come out very well. I am anxiously looking forward to the release of this movie,” said Ramesh.
