Activists throng netas' houses

Gandhian Anna Hazare had earlier called upon his supporters to stage demonstrations outside the residences of ministers and MPs seeking their stand on the Lokpal bill. He had also requested them to maintain peace and chant “Raghupathi Raja Ram” during the sit-in.
The first to face the wrath of the public was Sibal. Around 60 Anna supporters staged a protest outside his Teen Murti residence seeking his support for the Jan Lokpal bill.
People also gathered outside the Talkatora residence of Mukherjee, who was member of the joint drafting committee on Lokpal bill along with Sibal, and shouted slogans against the Congress-led UPA government.

Another group staged demonstrations outside Dikshit's Motilal Nehru Road residence. They shouted slogans against the chief minister who   is under fire after the CAG report mentioned her alleged role in the  Commonwealth Games scam. A protest was also held outside BJP MP Ashok Argal’s residence.

Apprehending trouble, a large number of police personnel were deployed at south and north avenues in Delhi where a large number of MPs reside.

Even the entry for public to  some of the lanes in these areas has been banned temporarily.
A huge crowd also staged a  demonstration outside the Congress headquarters here. Holding national flags, Hazare supporters gathered outside 24, Akbar Road and raised slogans against the government.
