Guru was awarded death sentence in the Parliament attack case.
“The parties should support my resolution as I have moved it on humanitarian grounds,” Rashid told reporters here at a press conference.
Speaker Mohammad Akbar Lone said the lower house will discuss the resolution.
The main opposition party, PDP, has also decided to support it.
