Action against irregularities: Bachegowda

He was speaking at a Janaspanadana programme organised at Angarekhanahalli in Chikkaballapur on Saturday. The MLA said, “Problems can be solved when bureaucrats  and people’s representatives work hand in hand”.

There have been irregularities in implementing government schemes in Angarekhanahalli gram panchayat limits, which has to be probed and guilty should be punished, he said.

Roads and underground drains should be repaired, veterinary hospitals and primary educations centres should be opened, he added.

Reacting to the residents’ request for constructing a main road by acquiring land from zamindars, he said talks will be held with concerned soon.

On the occasion, various department officials gave information about government schemes and requested the residents to make use of the schemes effectively. Taluk Panchayat president Manjula, vice president Venkatanarayanappa and others were present.
