Movenpick Hotel & Spa opens in City

Located in north Bangalore, it claims to be closest hotel to Bangalore International Airport.
Briefing reporters, Movenpick Hotel & Spa Bangalore General Manager Gary Moran said, “the hotel has 182 rooms, which are drawn between 35 and 175 sq mt, which include well-appointed rooms, eight Executive Suites and one Presidentil Suite.”

Two floors are dedicated to business travellers with exclusive access to executive lounge. Guests staying in executive club rooms or suites enjoy variety of benefits including a 24-hour rate starting from the time they arrive.

The hotel has four dining and entertainment options. ‘My Place’ is all-day dining restaurant serving international cuisine from interactive island kitchens — a premier bar — ‘Obsidian’, ‘Mezzaluna’ a restaurant serving traditional Italian fare, and ‘Perfect Sky’ which will soon be completed to become the hotel’s rooftop restaurant.

The hotel has, presently, announced an opening offer tariff of Rs 7,500 (plus taxes) for superior rooms, with complementary buffett breakfast. Movenpick, which has just set foot in South Asia, is already eyeing expansion, with a second property in Dharamshala, due to open next year.
