The students and the teachers got together and had a wonderful time. The students collected funds and even treated the teachers to a sumptuous lunch.

The girls organised the entire event and the teachers were given a dress code, that is, to wear anything but formals.

The students were keen on seeing their teachers dress in a different manner. The theme was ‘casual chic’ and no doubt, the faculty adhered to the rules. The teachers came dressed in their casual wear, not in saris.

The day began with each class thanking their teachers. There was much entertainment with a student imitating a teacher. Some classes even organised ‘talent shows’ and ‘ramp walks’ of the teachers.

There were small contests such as the the ‘best ramp walker’ and the ‘most creative teacher’. The student union paid a tribute to all the teachers in the college auditorium with a short cultural ensemble.

The celebrations concluded with the cutting of the cake by Principal Sr M Sonia who remarked that such occasions not only enable students to cherish the guidance and inspiration that they derive from their teachers but also motivates teachers in turn to excel in their vocation.
