Innings honours for Vivekananda

Batting first in the two-day match, School Vivekananda managed to score 299 runs in 79.4 overs despite DPS’ NS Sadhojath’s (5/85) five-wicket haul. DPS, in their first essay, were pegged back by Mahmood’s (7/81) fiery seven-wicket spell and as a result could only muster 242 runs in 85.5 overs.

In their second stint with the bat, School Vivekananda rode on B Om Prakash’s 92-run effort to extend their lead by 237 runs, but had to settle for three points.
