The police said a person named Bharat Sharma, who lives in the walled city area, on Tuesday morning received an anonymous call, threatening a serial blast in the city.
Bharat immediately contacted the police.
Bharat said he was in the bath room when the first call came and when he called back a person in Pathani accent told him that bombs have been planted in the city and it would be a repeat of May 13, 2008, on Tuesday. Bharat claimed the phone call was from Pakistan.
