To see connections and recognise that something doesn’t quite fit? Can you be creative while solving a problem, to come up with answers that nobody else thought of? Well, then, Ron Roy might have written this series of books just for you!

Join the young detectives – Donald David Duncan (called ‘Dink’ for short) and his friends Josh and Ruth Rose on a series of 26 adventures from A to Z. Each two-word title is alliterative (Examples: Absent Author; Bald Bandit…) covering the entire alphabet.
While they’re at home or when they are travelling, the three constantly find themselves face-to-face with a mystery to be solved. Often, they realise that someone who appears to be guilty is innocent.

They get help from likely and unlikely quarters: the librarian, their dog, even a pair of worn-out sandals! Whether it is hearing a suspicious whisper in a phone booth and recognising the voice again at a tea-party, being trapped in a sinking boat, or falling into a stream and emerging with a nugget of gold, our friends have adventures that’ll keep you turning pages till the very end.

As you read, you’ll find your mind working to try and unravel the mystery before the author presents the solution, pitting your wits against those of the youthful sleuths!
Each book opens with a map, so you can see exactly where the adventure takes place. Often, the author writes to his readers at the end of the book, talking about where he gets his ideas and revealing the inspiration behind a particular title, name or character.

The books are intriguing and exciting. Start with “A” and enjoy making your way right up to “Z”!
