Addressing the mediapersons here on Friday, Seer Shivamurthy Shivacharya said, the award comprises Rs three lakh cash and a citation. It will be presented here at the mutt on October 4.
Nanjundaswamy campaigned against the introduction of genetically modified crops in the country. The award is in recognition of his contribution in the field of agriculture, the seer said.
