Praying for success

According to sources, Hrithik Roshan’s next film Krrish 3 has already struck a Rs 125 crore deal. All this even before the film-makers start shooting the film! Interestingly , Hrithik’s last film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara(ZNMD) had collected the same amount at the box office.

Hrithik dealt with many flops before ZNMD. ‘Kites’, his ambitious home production with Barbara Mori, and then Guzaarish, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, had performed miserably, giving the star sleepless nights.

In fact, the failure of ‘Kites’ hit Hrithik really hard because distributors had bought it for Rs 105 crore.

Now, Hrithik is hoping  that Shah Rukh Khan’s sci-fi superhero flick ‘Ra.One’ does well because if it does make the cash registers ring at the box office, that means the value of Krrish 3 will rise further. On other hand, Hrithiks other film Agneepath, co-starring Sanjay Dutt, is yet to be sold to distributors.
