<p>Pankaj Vij (38) and Ved Parkash (43) were apprehended from New Moti Nagar yesterday while they were allegedly involved in betting during a match between Warriors and Somerset, V Renganathan, Additional Commissioner of Police (West), said.<br /><br />They had allegedly organised betting to the tune of Rs five lakh. A laptop, setup box, six mobiles, calculator and TV were recovered.<br /><br />During interrogation, Renganathan said Vij was previously running an STD and computer typing shop but wanted to earn a quick buck.<br /><br />Parkash, who is a school dropout, owned 200 rikshaws but due to losses in business, he allegedly got involved in betting.<br /><br />"They were into betting for the last two years," Renganathan said.</p>
