All four indulge in illegal activities and get caught. However, they don’t learn a lesson out of this or repent for their deeds.<br /> </p>.<p>The short play reflected the mentality of Indians and urged the audience to bring positive changes in their behaviour in a subtle way. <br /> </p>.<p>The play was made all the more effective with the help of jingles, songs and drums.<br /> </p>.<p>Prashant, the narrator and director, was happy at the positive response he got for the play. He said that the mindset of Indians inspired him to work on ‘I Got Caught’. <br /> </p>.<p>“The play revolved around ‘shame morality’ or ‘guilt morality’. We Indians, don’t feel bad while violating rules. We feel bad only when we are caught. I wanted to focus on this mentality,” he explained.<br /> </p>.<p>“We were a little doubtful about the effectiveness of the play as it was in English. Usually, street plays are more effective when presented in a regional language. Surprisingly, we received a tremendous response which has motivated us to work even harder,” added Prashant.<br /> </p>.<p>Aravind, the playwright, was happy with the good response. <br /> </p>.<p>“It was a good experience and great exposure. Though we had performed at Forum and other places before, this was a different. Gathering audience for the show was an amazing experience. We got an opportunity to interact with Arundhati Nag, who congratulated us and happily posed for a photograph with us,” he said. <br /> </p>.<p>The actors in the play were Prashant Kumar, Goutham, Aravind, Vidya, Shishira, Sai, Pinush and Pramukh.</p>
