The CBI, investigating into illegal mining, raided the residence of Srinivas, a close ally of arrested former minister Gali Janardhana Reddy.
The CBI visited Srinivas’ residence at Basaveshwarnagar in the City and camped there till evening. The sleuths have seized important documents pertaining to illegal mining. The CBI, camping in Bellary, has intensified its investigations.
