Representatives from 31 U.S. Universities would be participating in the fair and would offer detailed information about their institutions and programmes, USIEF said in a statement.

The participating universities represent a wide geographical area in the U.S. and offer a range of academic programmes at undergraduate and graduate levels, it said.

"USIEF is committed to helping Indian students find accredited U.S. universities that are the best fit for their academic and professional needs. We welcome Indian students to obtain genuine and relevant advice from us through these fairs, which have gained tremendous popularity over the years", said Adam J Grotsky, Executive Director, USIEF.

Students can also avail of one-on-one sessions with admissions officers and get reliable and authentic information about their programmes, it was stated.

Students would not be offered on-the-spot admissions but information and guidance provided by the university representatives would help students make informed choices about the colleges and programmes through parallel session throughout the fair hours.

Students may also be able to collect application forms, view books and other materials from these institutional representatives. Admission is free to this fair, it said.
