<p>Performing bhoomi pooja for the laying of the road at Hulehalli hobli in Birur under Prime Minister’s Gram Sadak Yojana at a cost of Rs 96.50 lakh, on Saturday, he said that three projects out of 15 proposals have received approval under MP’s fund. A sum of Rs 4.30 crore has been released.<br /><br />MLC Y S V Datta said that JD(S) has been emphasizing on rural development every since its inception. <br /><br />MLC Gayatri Santhegowda said that state government has failed to take up development works in the district. <br /><br />“Though Kadur has been declared as drought-hit, no funds have been released so far,” she said.<br /><br /></p>
