JOIN USAddressing a news conference here on Saturday, Vishwa Hindu Parishat(VHP)Vice-President Jagadish Shenava said that the names of Hindu organisations were unnecessarily dragged in as it is evident that the attack has happened due to some internal drift in the Church.
“Though the police have arrested a person in this regard, it so seems that even the police are trying to hide something. In such a situation, a CoD inquiry must be held to bring out the truth,” he said.
Police custody
Meanwhile, the court has handed over the church attack accused Shibu alias Subbu (24), a resident of Jalligudde, to police custody till November 8.
Mangalore City Police Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh said that police could not get much details from the accused as he was taken into custody late in the evening.
