The call given by the All-India State Bank Officers Federation (AISBOF) for a two-day countrywide strike on November 8 and 9 has been deferred, union sources said.
A decision to this effect was taken late this evening, the sources said.Details about what transpired at the conciliatory meeting could not be ascertained immediately as office-bearers of the union could not be reached.
The country's largest lender with a customer base of over 13.60 crore has about 13,560 branches spread across the country.
